Volunteering for a Tactical Games event gives an opportunity to see firsthand how an event flows. If you are a new athlete on your journey to start competing, volunteering is an excellent way to get started. If you are a seasoned competitor, volunteering is a great way to get more involved in the community.
There are a wide variety of options when it comes to volunteering, each event is different and may require a special role.
Scorekeeper – Generally good for an organized individual that enjoys data entry and direct conversation with our athletes.
Equipment management – This role will require the volunteer to assist in the setup, maintenance, and breakdown of the stages. These volunteers have the most immersive experience of the weekend. The role puts the volunteer on the field and in the mix.
Spotting – This role requires the volunteer to monitor targets and report the athletes hits. This is an excellent way to observe
Misc. – Other roles may include target resets, heat schedule/athlete management, recording finish times as athletes complete their work, and many other roles.
Medical – This is limited to two volunteers per event. Applicants must hold a current medical certification or degree to be considered.
Please bring eye and ear protection, wear closed toed shoes, sunscreen is always recommended.
Those who volunteer for an entire weekend will receive a free entry into a future event.
Those who volunteer for a single day will receive a 50% discount on event entry fees.
